The ACC Liverpool set aside the River Mersey adjacent to the shimmering John Lennon Peace Monument. The ACC Liverpool has been voted the best Conference centre 3 times in a row and we can certainly understand why!
ACC Liverpool was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip during their visit to Liverpool back in 2008. Since it’s creation it has grown in size, sponsorship and worldwide recognition.
The building, that was designed by Eyre and Happold, consists of two main elements either side of a central galleria: a multi-purpose arena and a convention centre. The arena has a staggering 7,513 permanent seats around three sides of a central floor. The BT Convention Centre has a 3,725 square metrehall on the ground floor, with a 1,350 capacity auditorium and eighteen additional rooms above, giving an amazing exhibition space of over 7,000 square metres. This unique design being the only one of its kind in Europe.
