Olympia is located in the West London are of West Kensington straddled across the boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. The Venue has four separate halls which can all be used and opened up seamlessly for one big event or portioned for smaller events. The event venues are Olympia Grand (19,325m²), Olympia National (8,730m²), Olympia Central (formerly Two) (7,850m²) and Olympia West (7,688m²).

The Iron and Glass curved building known as Olympia Grand first opened in 1886 as the National Agricultural Hall, it was built by Andrew Handyside and Company  and covers an amazing  4 acres (16,000 m²). It is said to be the largest building of it’s type within the UK and is emblematic of one of the most famous halls ‘The Great Exhibition’ of 1861 front lined by Prince Albert himself.

The famous venue started to increase in size due to it’s notoriety and popularity. It has played host to many famous events over the centuries such as the The International Motor Exhibition held annually at Olympia from 1905 to 1936, and more recent events like the London International Wine Fair.

In 1922 the Centre expanded and Olympia National was added on to Olympia Grand to create more space and again in 1929,  Olympia Central was built in a quintessential Art Deco style set against the bustling Hammersmith Road.

By 1970 Earls court now demolished had merged with Olympia, and together being to central locations for events, concerts and trade shows. Due to the closure of Earls Court, Olympia went through another expansion and the new West Hall was opened in 2012.
